How group buying works
Alone, a buyer asks for a price. Together, a group sets one. Here is the whole idea in three steps.
- Someone posts a requirementA flat, a car, a batch of appliances - with the quantity, the location and the date the group closes.
- Buyers with the same need joinAnybody looking for the same thing in the same place joins before that date. The group grows; nobody pays yet.
- The group negotiates as oneOne conversation on behalf of everybody in it, at a quantity no single buyer could have brought to the table.
