About Subharambh

Subharambh is a group-buying platform for India. A single buyer rarely has the weight to negotiate with a builder, a car dealer or a bulk supplier. A group does. On Subharambh, people who want the same thing in the same place join one group before a closing date, and the group goes to sellers as one — at a quantity no individual buyer could bring to the table.

How it works

• Post a requirement. Say what you want to buy, where, and by when.
• Buyers join. Others with the same need in the same place join the group. Nobody pays while a group is still growing.
• The group negotiates as one. Sellers bid for the whole group, and the group compares the offers side by side.

Merchants and advertisers

Merchants can post deals and advertise to buyers who are already looking. Advertisements are always labelled as advertisements.
